The rules for using Aria. Plain-language summary at the top, full terms below.

Last updated: 2026-06-05

Draft, pending legal review. These terms reflect how we currently operate, but they are being reviewed by counsel before public launch. Specific language may change; the spirit will not. Email admin@ariovox.com with questions.

Plain summary

  • You need an account to use Aria. Children under 13 use parent-owned accounts.
  • Don't share your account with strangers. Don't try to break Aria or scrape it.
  • Aria is a tutor, not a doctor, not a lawyer, not a financial advisor. Don't treat her like one.
  • We can cancel accounts that abuse the service or other people on it.
  • You own what you create on Aria. We license what we need to teach you.
  • If something goes wrong, our liability is limited (the usual SaaS terms).

1. The agreement

By signing up or using the Aria service (“Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you're using Aria on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind them.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity on your account. If you spot unauthorized access, tell us at admin@ariovox.com.

Children under 13. Child profiles are parent-owned. The parent holds and manages credentials and is responsible for the account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Aria for anything illegal or harmful to other learners.
  • Scrape, mirror, or resell the Service or its content.
  • Try to break, reverse-engineer, or stress-test our infrastructure.
  • Use Aria to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
  • Share your account with people who haven't agreed to these terms.

4. Pricing, billing, and cancellation

Plans, pricing, and currencies are described on our Pricing page and confirmed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle. Refunds are described in our FAQ; reach out via admin@ariovox.com for billing issues.

5. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of everything you create on Aria (your answers, notes, whiteboard work). You grant Ariovox Labs LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to provide and improve the Service. We don't claim ownership of your educational work.

Aria's curriculum content, software, and trademarks are owned by Ariovox Labs LLC. Don't republish them without permission.

6. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance windows and will give notice when we can. We may change features over time as the product evolves; we won't remove material functionality without notice.

7. Disclaimers

Aria is provided “as is”. She's a tutor, not a substitute for licensed professional advice (medical, legal, financial). We make no warranties beyond those required by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ariovox Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Direct liability is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For users in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and India, you retain any rights granted by your local consumer-protection law.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll notify account holders of material changes by email and update the “last updated” date above. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
